Plan maintenance for the selected database

Monitor storage growth, query plans, index usage, connection limits, backup success, and replication where configured. Follow the database vendor guidance for the engine and version in use.

Schedule maintenance according to measured need and verify its locking, disk, and downtime impact in a comparable environment. QQQ metadata does not make a universal index rebuild, compaction, or table optimization command safe for every backend. Keep schema migrations explicit and tested.
